dirty but true

In the early days of april 1939 Henry Ford encountered a problem and thus asked his secretary:
"What should I give Adolf Hitler for his 50th birthday? I mean, he cant miss much, but I want to pay him a tribute...."
"Well" said the secretary, "money is always an option. So about 50.000 dollars I think would do the trick"

Henry Ford silenced for a moment, looking out of the window he then replied:
"He do have my portrait hanging in his Munich HQ, so........mmmmm....okay!"

Henry Ford sat down and did the paperwork.
